E.N. Welch Mfg. Co., Bristol, Conn., "Columbian", pocket watch form novelty clock, 30 hours, backwind, time only, spring driven movement, papered dial, nickel plated case with repousse scene of Columbus landing in America, with plush case, c1892.
CONDITION:
case with wear, minor corrosion, and scratches, rear door reattached to its hinge, dial with scratch and minor loss, hands oxidized, plush case dirty and worn, running. Original hands. A scarce little novelty clock, particularly with the plush case, produced for sale as souvenirs at the 1892 Columbian Exposition.
